I cannot get the camera recognized by a Mac or a PC when connecting?
-
Hello everyone,
When you connect the camera to the Mac,
please firstly make sure the camera is turned on.
Secondly, Connecting a Mac to Pilot requires third-party tool: OpenMTP or Android File Transfer, link to download below:
https://files.labpano.com/app/pilot/Document/5.18.0_111_0/One/PilotOne_doc_en.html#mac
Thirdly, please use a U-green type-C port Hub as the adaptor and connect it to the Mac, below the image. and please still use the original usb-c cable to connect the camera to the hub.
last, please make sure that the camera is turned on.
For windows PC, please directly connect the camera to the windows with the included type-C cable in the package. If you encountered the failed connect, please you can connect a usb-c type-C hub as an adaptor to connect the camera and the pc.
Hopefully, the information is helpful.
Best regards

OpenMTP or Android File Transfer may not work properly via Pilot. That's why errors occur. In order to fix this you need to restore the data. Do raid data recovery and restart with the drivers for the camera. U-green type-C port Hub will work through the old adapter. Or you need signal boosters for version 3.1 and higher. You can use a non-native cord to connect via an adapter or adaptor. Try again, you will be fine.

I had a similar problem on windows, but after installing the drivers, the problem just disappeared and the device was able to connect successfully. Check if everything is connected correctly.
